In 2014, she decided to quit her job with Google chase her dreams and join the circus. She attended Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance School and began performing with professional circus companies after graduation. She then went on to form Denver’s largest Circus School, the Circus Collective.
In 2020, she sold the Circus Collective to her business partner with the goal of moving home to the mountains and bringing the magic of the circus to her hometown of Aspen.
Art of Air was born.
Art of Air works with only the top performers and artists including artists featured in Cirque du Soliel, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Meow Wolf and more.
Ariana herself has opened the stage for Oprah and Michael Franti and has performed at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Pepsi Center, as well as being a featured performer on the VICE TV network, MTV, in several Music Videos.
Her background in Event Planning and her depth of knowledge in the performing arts has helped her become a leader in the industry.

"Art of Air" was formed by Ariana "Air" Gradow in 2019 in her hometown of Aspen, Colorado. Ariana has been practicing aerial and acrobatics since 2012 and she worked as an event planner for over 12 years working with clients such as Google I/O, IMB Interconnect, VMWare, and produced her own concert tour and festival. Chenae acquired the love for movement arts from a young age. Training in gymnastics, dance and theater throughout her early years she was inspired to continue to seek ways to grow & push the boundaries. Several years later she found circus arts and began to develop a passion for sharing her creativity with the world, she then realized it was where she was meant to be! A decade later and Chenae has performed on some of the biggest stages such as RedRocks amphitheater, music festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Meow Wolf Vortex Festival. She currently lives in Aspen and loves working with local clients and helping them with all of their entertainment needs!
